FC Heat was formed in 1976 and since then has strived to become the leader in youth soccer in San Diego North County. We have that hometown feel and are known as the ‘Jewel of North County’. Every year we work on new programs for our players.

In 2015, we became the only club in California to have one of our teams travel to take part in a tournament in Dalian, China.

We know how important it is to have good, educated coaches teaching your children.  That is why many of our coaches are, or have been, high school teachers or involved in HS sports. College is another main focus for us as we move to the future and hopefully get your child prepared for the many challenges ahead. We are constantly working with our coaches to keep your training fresh and effective, using proven methods and the latest innovations.

We have our own unique facilities at Ryan Park in Escondido, which help to finance our club and unlike other clubs, we only need to breakeven financially.  Our lighted fields are in a safe and ideal environment for local Escondido players, while being convenient for players coming outside of town.

Our coaches really make a difference and dedicate themselves to guiding your child in his or her soccer journey. Each coach is evaluated every season on a number of criteria and our coaches like to give more effort than is expected.

Our FC Heat Elite competitive program is second to none. Our coaches are highly trained, certified and continue to improve their education. In fact, FC Heat Elite will compensate a coach in order for him/her to increase a licensing level. Our Director of Coaching is constantly involved in every team’s development on a regular basis, monitoring practice sessions and games. Individual player development is our number one priority.
